Shadle Park Highlanders crushes Rogers Pirates 49-0 in Washington high school football game

Shadle Park High School quarterback Ryan Schmidt racked up 139 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to guide the Shadle Park Highlanders to a 49-0 win over the Rogers Pirates on Friday night at Union in a high school football game.

The Highlanders also received crucial efforts from running back Logan Doyle who rushed 9 times for 43 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Tryson Town who caught 4 passes for 73 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Rogers’ quarterback Casey Jeske threw for 41 yards and wide receiver Anthony Deerfield had 16 receiving yards.

The win helps Shadle Park improve to 1-0 on the season while Rogers falls to 0-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Shadle Park will take on the Othello Huskies at home on Saturday March 13. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Rogers travels to Clarkston, WA to take on the Clarkston Bantams on Friday March 12. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
