Mt. Spokane Wildcats defeat Cheney Blackhawks 17-0 in Washington high school football game

Mt. Spokane wide receiver Jordan Sands racked up 70 receiving yards to lead the Mt. Spokane Wildcats to a 17-0 win over the Cheney Blackhawks on Friday night in a football game.
The Wildcats also received impressive efforts from wide receiver Tyler Alm who rushed 8 times for 55 yards and 1 touchdown and quarterback Jamin Smith who completed 3 passes for 60 yards.
Cheney’s quarterback Josh Whiteley threw for 11 yards, running back Charles Gerber picked up 37 rushing yards and wide receiver Ryan Reickmann had 8 receiving yards.
The win helps Mt. Spokane improve to 1-1 on the season while Cheney falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Mt. Spokane will take on the Ferris Saxons at home on Friday March 12. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
