Cheney Blackhawks defeat Southridge Suns 43-31 in Washington high school basketball game

Cheney Point Guard Tatum Sloan led all scorers with 19 points as the Blackhawks beat Southridge Suns 43-31 in a game at Cheney High School.

Sloan’s points came on 5 field goals and 3 three pointers during the game.

Henley Heward added 7. Southridge fell to 1-6 overall while Cheney improved their record to 3-3.

Southridge’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 6 versus Walla Walla. Cheney will travel to West Valley HS on Wednesday Dec. 28 to play West Valley.
