Cheney Blackhawks edge North Central Wolfpack 39-36 in Washington high school basketball game

Cheney Guard Paige Evans led all scorers with 14 points as the Blackhawks beat North Central Wolfpack 39-36 in a game at North Central High School.

Evans’ points came on 1 field goal, 3 three pointers and 3 of 4 free throws during the game.

Hannah Hamilton added 13. North Central fell to 8-11 overall while Cheney improved their record to 6-13.

North Central’s next game is scheduled to be played at North Central High School on Tuesday Feb. 7 versus Ferris. Cheney will travel to University High School on Tuesday Feb. 7 to play University.
