Baraboo Thunderbirds beat Holmen Vikings 23-14 in Wisconsin high school football game
Holmen - Baraboo High School quarterback Luke Vittengl had 91 rushing yards to guide the Baraboo Thunderbirds to a 23-14 win over the Holmen Vikings on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Thunderbirds also received vital efforts from wide receiver Luke Turkington who rushed 10 times for 54 yards and running back Isaac Pelland who rushed 11 times for 53 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Holmen's Noah Ertz threw for 42 yards and 1 touchdown and Matthew Conn had 31 receiving yards.
The win helps Baraboo improve to 3-1 on the season while Holmen falls to 0-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Baraboo will take on the La Crosse Central Red Raiders at home on Friday September 15. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
