La Crosse Central Red Raiders defeat Holmen Vikings 22-14 in Wisconsin high school football game

Holmen - La Crosse Central High School quarterback Jude Alvarado had 237 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to guide the La Crosse Central Red Raiders to a 22-14 win over the Holmen Vikings on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Red Raiders also received vital efforts from running back Gavin Shepard who rushed 14 times for 40 yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Aaron Poelma who caught 6 passes for 105 yards.

Holmen's Blake Goyette picked up 85 rushing yards.

The win helps La Crosse Central improve to 6-1 on the season while Holmen falls to 2-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
