Holmen Vikings crushes Baraboo Thunderbirds 48-7 in WI high school football game

Holmen High School quarterback Colin Williams racked up 155 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help the Holmen Vikings to a 48-7 win over the Baraboo Thunderbirds on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received helpful efforts from running back AJ Alesch who rushed 3 times for 93 yards and fullback Elijah Kane who rushed 4 times for 72 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Baraboo’s quarterback Poker Peyton threw for 12 yards, running back Huelsemann Ethan picked up 14 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and running back Wagner Parker had 9 receiving yards.

The win helps Holmen improve to 7-0 on the season while Baraboo falls to 0-7. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Holmen will face off against the La Crosse Central Red Raiders at home on Friday October 10. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
