Holmen Vikings cruises by Tomah Timberwolves 42-13 in WI high school football game

Holmen High School running back Jack Barth racked up 179 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to guide the Holmen Vikings to a 42-13 win over the Tomah Timberwolves on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received key efforts from fullback Elijah Kane who rushed 12 times for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns and quarterback Colin Williams who rushed 10 times for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Tomah’s defensive back Quinn Gerke threw for 188 yards and 2 touchdowns, linebacker Shon Abbas picked up 57 rushing yards and defensive back Jaden Johnson had 59 receiving yards.

The win helps Holmen improve to 6-0 on the season while Tomah falls to 1-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Holmen travels to Baraboo, WI to face off against the Baraboo Thunderbirds on Friday October 3. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
