Holmen Vikings crushes Sauk Prairie Eagles 42-0 in WI high school football game

Holmen High School fullback Elijah Kane racked up 193 rushing yards and scored 3 touchdowns to lead the Holmen Vikings to a 42-0 win over the Sauk Prairie Eagles on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received major efforts from quarterback Colin Williams who rushed 6 times for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Jack Barth who caught 2 passes for 75 yards and 1 touchdown.

Sauk Prairie’s quarterback Cayden Hermsdorf threw for 106 yards, running back Enzo Lindner picked up 15 rushing yards and wide receiver Blayze Caldwell had 41 receiving yards.

The win helps Holmen improve to 2-0 on the season while Sauk Prairie falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Holmen will challenge the Onalaska Hilltoppers at home on Friday September 5. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Sauk Prairie travels to Watertown, WI to face off against the Watertown Goslings on Friday September 5. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
