West Lowndes Panthers defeat Sebastopol Bobcats 28-22 in Mississippi high school football game

West Lowndes High School defensive back Fredrick Rice had 149 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to guide the West Lowndes Panthers to a 28-22 win over the Sebastopol Bobcats on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Panthers also received vital efforts from running back Jaquavious Tate who rushed 15 times for 127 yards and wide receiver Marquez Shelton who rushed 4 times for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Sebastopol’s running back Kari Micheals threw for 52 yards, running back David Williams picked up 135 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and tight end Jacob Williams had 38 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The win helps West Lowndes improve to 3-2 on the season while Sebastopol falls to 2-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
West Lowndes travels to Walnut Grove, MS to take on the Leake County Gators on Friday October 1. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
