Clinton Arrows beat Northwest Rankin Cougars 19-11 in MS high school football game

Clinton High School quarterback Jayden Jones accumulated 122 passing yards to help the Clinton Arrows to a 19-11 win over the Northwest Rankin Cougars on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Arrows also received crucial efforts from linebacker Braylon Lowery who rushed 28 times for 139 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Boskey Evans who rushed 6 times for 15 yards.
Northwest Rankin’s quarterback Joseph Phillipson threw for 58 yards, running back Jermany Hayden picked up 182 rushing yards and wide receiver De’shawn Dillon had 62 receiving yards.
The win helps Clinton improve to 2-0 on the season while Northwest Rankin falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Clinton travels to Brandon, MS to face off against the Brandon Bulldogs on Friday September 12. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
Northwest Rankin travels to Waynesboro, MS to take on the Wayne County War Eagles on Friday September 12. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
