Shannon crushes Caledonia 52-14

Jordan Gilleylen had 319 passing yards and threw for 5 touchdowns to lead Shannon to a 52-14 win over Caledonia on Friday night at Caledonia High School.

The Red Raiders also received impressive efforts from Taylor Doss who caught 2 passes for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns and Erick Rogers who caught 8 passes for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Caledonia’s QB Brandon Edmondson threw for 15 yards and 1 touchdown, Darquez Williams picked up 67 rushing yards and Darrius Triplett had 11 receiving yards.

With the loss, Caledonia falls to 2-4 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Caledonia travels to Mooreville, MS to challenge the Mooreville Troopers on Friday October 5 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
