Amory edges Caledonia 35-34

KC Ivy had 170 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to lead Amory to a 35-34 win over Caledonia on Friday night at Caledonia High School.

The Panthers also received crucial efforts from Hunter Jones who rushed 17 times for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns and Darius Smith who caught 2 passes for 24 yards.

Caledonia’s QB Brandon Edmondson threw for 73 yards and 1 touchdown and SB Jedarius Gore had 73 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns.

With the loss, Caledonia falls to 3-6 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Caledonia travels to Fulton, MS to challenge the Itawamba Agricultural Indians on Friday October 26 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
