Amory Panthers defeat Caledonia Confederates 44-33 in Mississippi high school football game

Amory High School Quarterback Hunter Jones accumulated 326 passing yards and threw for 5 touchdowns to lead Amory Panthers to a 44-33 win over Caledonia Confederates on Friday night at AMORY in a high school football game.

The Panthers also received helpful efforts from Wide Receiver Braxton Griffin who caught 8 passes for 169 yards and 2 touchdowns and Wide Receiver Jay Hampton who caught 5 passes for 107 yards and 1 touchdown.

Amory travels to Aberdeen, MS to challenge the Aberdeen Bulldogs on Friday September 11 at 5:00pm. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
