Mount Olive Pirates edges Sebastopol Bobcats 28-23 in Mississippi high school football game

Mount Olive High School Running Back Quandarius Hubbard picked up 136 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead Mount Olive Pirates to a 28-23 win over Sebastopol Bobcats on Thursday night at Sebastopol Attendance Center in a high school football game.

The Pirates also received crucial efforts from Jay Gordon who rushed 9 times for 66 yards and 1 touchdown and Quarterback Marcus Baggett who rushed 15 times for 51 yards and 1 touchdown.

Sebastopol’s Quarterback Jaden Mann threw for 114 yards and 1 touchdown and Tight End Jacob Williams had 44 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Mount Olive improve to 2-3 on the season while Sebastopol falls to 5-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Mount Olive will face off against the Sacred Heart Crusaders at home on Friday October 16. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
