East Central Hornets beat Pascagoula Panthers 44-30 in Mississippi high school football game

East Central High School Running Back Eli Smith picked up 178 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead East Central Hornets to a 44-30 win over Pascagoula Panthers on Friday night at Pascagoula High School in a high school football game.
The Hornets also received crucial efforts from Defensive Back Carson Ryder who completed 6 passes for 77 yards and 1 touchdown and Running Back Samuel Walls who rushed 14 times for 84 yards.
Pascagoula’s Quarterback Keilon Parnell threw for 294 yards and 3 touchdowns and Wide Receiver Houston Johnson had 174 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.
The win helps East Central improve to 7-1 on the season while Pascagoula falls to 4-5. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
East Central will take on the Pearl River Central Blue Devils at home on Friday October 30. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
