Independence’s Elishia Wilson led the way with 15 points as the Wildcats beat Ingomar Falcons 54-53 in a game at .

Wilson’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 4 free throws during the game.

Macie Phifer added 21. Ingomar fell to 9-5 overall while Independence improved their record to 6-2.

Ingomar’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Jan. 5 versus West Union. Independence will travel to Smithville High School on Saturday Jan. 2 to play Blue Mountain.
