Amory Panthers edge Ingomar Falcons 48-44 in Mississippi high school basketball game

Amory’s Jataiva Smith led the way with 20 points as the Panthers beat Ingomar Falcons 48-44 in a game at Amory High School.

Smith’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 4 of 4 free throws during the game.

Macie Phifer added 31. Ingomar fell to 16-9 overall while Amory improved their record to 15-7.

Ingomar’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Feb. 5 versus Jackson Academy.
