Hoggard Vikings cruises by New Hanover Wildcats 34-0 in NC high school football game

Hoggard High School quarterback Matthew Boring picked up 163 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help the Hoggard Vikings to a 34-0 win over the New Hanover Wildcats on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Vikings also received helpful efforts from running back David Hunter who rushed 18 times for 110 yards and 1 touchdown and halfback Gage Henderson who rushed 13 times for 56 yards.
New Hanover’s QB QUARTERBACK threw for 31 yards, RB RUNNINGBACK picked up 82 rushing yards and WR WIDERECEIVER had 31 receiving yards.
The win helps Hoggard improve to 6-0 on the season while New Hanover falls to 2-4. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
Hoggard travels to Hampstead, NC to take on the Topsail Pirates on Friday October 10. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
