College Place Hawks cruises by Wapato Wolves 63-12 in Washington high school football game

College Place High School Tom thumb racked up 119 rushing yards and scored 1 touchdown to lead the College Place Hawks to a 63-12 win over the Wapato Wolves on Saturday night in a high school football game.

The Hawks also received key efforts from Sam Spade who rushed 11 times for 78 yards and 1 touchdown and Jim Eads who caught 4 passes for 87 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Wapato’s wide receiver Thompson Parrish threw for 146 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Tyron Garcia picked up 42 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Enrique Espinoza had 123 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps College Place improve to 5-3 on the season while Wapato falls to 0-8. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Wapato will challenge the Highland Scots at home on Friday November 5. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
