Gulf Coast Sharks defeat South Fort Myers Wolfpack 21-14 in Florida high school football game

Gulf Coast High School Johnny ruggero accumulated 68 rushing yards to help the Gulf Coast Sharks to a 21-14 win over the South Fort Myers Wolfpack on Friday night at Naples, FL in a high school football game.

The Sharks also received helpful efforts from defensive back RJ Williams who rushed 4 times for 60 yards and 1 touchdown and quarterback Peyton Hale who completed 6 passes for 46 yards.

South Fort Myers’ quarterback Chase Enguita threw for 107 yards and wide receiver Justin White picked up 27 rushing yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Gulf Coast improve to 1-0 on the season while South Fort Myers falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Gulf Coast travels to Naples, FL to take on the Lely Trojans on Friday September 1. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
