Cape Coral Seahawks crushes North Fort Myers Red Knights 40-10 in FL high school football game

Cape Coral High School Derek hooker had 134 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to lead the Cape Coral Seahawks to a 40-10 win over the North Fort Myers Red Knights on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Seahawks also received impressive efforts from running back Jermaine Skinner who rushed 10 times for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns and running back Caleb Cobb who rushed 6 times for 87 yards and 1 touchdown.

North Fort Myers’ quarterback Caedon Conn threw for 77 yards, running back Christian Weber picked up 83 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and wide receiver Charles Lombardo had 72 receiving yards.

The win helps Cape Coral improve to 1-0 on the season while North Fort Myers falls to 0-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Cape Coral will challenge the Lemon Bay Manta Rays at home on Thursday August 28. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

North Fort Myers travels to Port Charlotte, FL to take on the Port Charlotte Pirates on Friday August 29. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
