Cypress Lake Panthers beat Fort Myers Green Wave 20-7 in FL high school football game

Cypress Lake High School Jaydon Henderson accumulated 184 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead the Cypress Lake Panthers to a 20-7 win over the Fort Myers Green Wave on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Panthers also received helpful efforts from Rashad Matthews who rushed 11 times for 27 yards and Adrian Burdette who caught 6 passes for 67 yards and 1 touchdown.

Fort Myers’ Dominic Ardezzone threw for 33 yards, Trevon Moate picked up 106 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Dominic Consolazio had 19 receiving yards.

The win helps Cypress Lake improve to 1-2 on the season while Fort Myers falls to 2-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Cypress Lake will face off against the East Lee County Jaguars at home on Friday September 12. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.

Fort Myers will face off against the South Fort Myers Wolfpack at home on Friday September 12. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
