Lely Trojans defeat Immokalee Indians 40-28 in FL high school football game

Lely High School quarterback Carter Quinn picked up 191 passing yards and threw for 4 touchdowns to lead the Lely Trojans to a 40-28 win over the Immokalee Indians on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Trojans also received impressive efforts from athlete Ty Collins who caught 7 passes for 124 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Ninaud Joseph who rushed 21 times for 84 yards and 1 touchdown.

Immokalee’s jayden cowhill threw for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns, Youvensley Methelus picked up 59 rushing yards and marshon Jackson had 134 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Lely improve to 4-2 on the season while Immokalee falls to 3-2. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Lely travels to Naples, FL to challenge the Aubrey Rogers Patriots on Friday October 10. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
