Dunbar Tigers defeat Fort Myers Green Wave 20-14 in Florida high school football game

Dunbar - Dunbar High School Quarterback Daveon Palmer racked up 173 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead Dunbar Tigers to a 20-14 win over Fort Myers Green Wave on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Tigers also received major efforts from Running Back Moses Cooper (C) who rushed 16 times for 83 yards and 1 touchdown and Slot Back Roger Mottley III who caught 5 passes for 62 yards and 1 touchdown.

Fort Myers' Quarterback Carter Lane threw for 49 yards and Running Back Zemare Harvin had 20 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Dunbar improve to 1-0 on the season while Fort Myers falls to 2-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.

Fort Myers will take on the Cypress Lake Panthers at home on Friday October 16. This is the first matchup between the two teams this season.
