Mater Dei Monarchs edge Leuzinger Olympians 65-60 in CA high school basketball game

Mater Dei’s Luke Barnett led all scorers with 29 points as the Monarchs beat Leuzinger Olympians 65-60 in a game at Mira Costa HS.

Barnett’s points came on 7 field goals, 4 three pointers and 3 of 3 free throws during the game.

X Knight added 17. Leuzinger fell to 1-2 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 1-1.

Leuzinger’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Dec. 2 versus Bishop Montgomery. Mater Dei will host Dos Pueblos on Saturday Nov. 30
