Redding Christian travels to Maxwell for a nonleague meeting at Maxwell High School on Friday, Sept. 12. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. PDT. The Redding Christian Lions (0-0) visit the Maxwell Panthers (0-0) in what figures to be an early-season test as both programs open their schedules.

No recent meeting is on file between these schools, so Friday’s game will serve as a fresh chapter in the series. With both teams unbeaten to start the year, the contest is a chance for coaches to see their depth and identify areas to tighten up before league play. Maxwell hosts Mt. Shasta the following Friday, Sept. 19, while Redding Christian’s next listed game is Oct. 24 at Etna.
